Christa is a trainee conveyancer in our conveyancing department where she supports clients through the process of buying and selling property. She finds it an extremely rewarding feeling to inform a client they have completed on their first ever purchase.
Christa’s Story
Originally from Scotland, Christa decided to travel over the border to study English law after taking a year out of education during Covid. She studied her law degree at the University of Cumbria and graduated in July 2023.
She completed a five-week work experience programme at Wragg Mark-Bell during her final year of university and didn’t want to leave. When her work experience ended, she put forward her interest to take on a conveyancing paralegal role and was invited back.
The best bits of the job
Christa’s favourite part of the job is helping first-time buyers get onto the property ladder. She finds it an extremely rewarding feeling to inform a client they have completed on their first ever purchase. She also likes that Wragg Mark-Bell offers a relaxed professional environment and a dog-friendly office.
At play
Christa is the owner of two adopted cats, Mr Cat and Mr Tom, so she currently spends a lot of time looking after them. She also likes to watch a good film or go out to eat. She particularly enjoys going to the Last Zebra and Coco Mill in Carlisle.
