Lauren is a Solicitor in our family and private client department. She assists clients with divorce, financial provisions and child contact. She can also support clients with creating Wills, Probate and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Lauren’s Story
Lauren has lived in Carlisle for her entire life but took a brief break to complete her law degree in Newcastle, which made her long to return to her hometown.
Studying for her degree only further developed her passion for law and she knew it was the career path for her. She loves how there is so much to learn when it comes to law and no two days are the same.
Lauren knew of Wragg Mark-Bell due to it being a well-established firm in the local area and she wanted to be part of such a friendly firm.
The best bits of the job
Lauren enjoys assisting people during, what can be, a very daunting process. She deals with a variety of clients ensuring that client’s are kept up to date throughout whether this be for divorces or for child arrangements and that the service offered is tailored to the person as no two cases are the same.
She also loves the relaxed and friendly atmosphere we have between staff whilst remaining professional and providing clients with the service they deserve. Being a dog-friendly office creates a calming atmosphere too, and her dog Simba loves also loves the office.
At play
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys going out for food and drinks and socialising with her friends and family, and is partial to a city break with her partner Elliot. She also enjoys taking her dog, Simba, for walks in the Lake District and being out and about. When she isn’t out and about, Lauren enjoys watching true crime documentaries.
