Jeff’s Story
Jeff Smith was a police officer in Carlisle for two years in the late 1970s before deciding to try his hand at law.
Now, he has been covering criminal and family law for more than 30 years. He has considerable experience within criminal law having represented clients in magistrates, the high court and court of appeal.
He joined Wragg Mark-Bell in 2019 and enables the firm to deliver the highest quality criminal and family law advice.

At play
When he’s not working, Jeff enjoys cycling and he also enjoys going for walks with his wife. He lives in a rural area, which gives him plenty of opportunities to get out and about.
