Sean qualified as a solicitor in May 2012, having trained at a firm in Bolton. Prior to this Sean studied for his law degree at the University of Sheffield and then completed the Legal Practice Course at Manchester Metropolitan University.
Sean obtained duty solicitor status in April 2013. He has practiced criminal defence almost exclusively in Cumbria since 2013. Previously Sean had practiced family law alongside his criminal defence work. He now specialises solely in criminal defence. Sean’s main duties include representing clients both at the Police Station and the Magistrates Court. He has also acted as litigator for Defendant’s facing the most serious of charges at the Crown Court.
Sean enjoys walks in the Lake District with his partner and dog, Freddie. He also enjoys going for regular runs to keep himself fit. Sean is a keen football fan. He supports Bolton Wanderers and tries to get to as many games as possible.
