Higher Court Advocate, Based in our Criminal Law Department
Paul joined our team in January 2016. Paul is a Higher Court Advocate representing client in the Crown Court for the most part but also complex Magistrates Court trials and at the Police Station during interview. Paul qualified as a solicitor in 1984, he became a Duty Solicitor and following that obtained his Higher Rights qualification in 2005.
Paul was born in Workington, lives in Cockermouth and is a married father of two daughters and one granddaughter, living in Whitehaven and Christchurch, New Zealand.
Paul enjoys cooking Italian food, walking in the Lake District and restoring classic cars. He is also a member of the Woodland Trust and CPRE (Campaign to Protect Rural England) groups.
