Director, Duty Solicitor, Magistrates’ Court and Police Station Representation
Sara was born in Middlesbrough but considers herself a Carlisle girl having lived here most of her life. An identical twin, she went to secondary school at Morton Comprehensive in Carlisle. Her family and friends live in Cumbria and she has strong links to the local area through her working life and family connections.
Sara qualified as a Magistrates’ Court and Police Station Duty Solicitor in May 2014. She qualified as a Solicitor in December 2013 after completing her training contract with Wragg Mark-Bell. She provides legal advice and assistance with her colleagues on a 24/7 basis taking responsibility for clients from police station through to Magistrates’ Court and providing her support through to matters at the Crown Court.
Sara’s experience extends to Wills and Probate and Employment Law. Sara previously worked in finance and decided for a career change to achieve her lifelong ambition of becoming a lawyer. She completed her law degree in 2009 with the University of Central Lancashire achieving a 2:1. Her post-graduate diploma in law was completed with BPP Law School in Leeds where she specialised in Advanced Crime, Family Law and Wills and Probate.
Outside of work Sara enjoys music, fashion, cooking, movies, travel and spending time with friends and family.
