Solicitor, Accredited Police Station Representative
Amy was brought up in Carlisle and attended St.Aiden’s Secondary School. Amy’s interest in the law grew during her A-Level studies of the subject in which she received an A* grade. Amy continued her legal studies at the University of Cumbria in Carlisle where she graduated in 2014 with a 2:1 honours degree. During Amy’s studies she undertook a work experience placement with Wragg Mark-Bell which gave her an insight into the workings of a high street law firm and of the Criminal Justice system.
Amy completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (LPC) with the University of Northumbria with distinction.
Amy joined the firm in January 2014 as a Paralegal. Amy qualified as Police Station Representative in August 2014 achieving the highest mark ever awarded by Cardiff University in the written exam component of the qualification. Amy assists her colleagues in providing 24/7 cover at the police station. During her training contract Amy has gained experience within the Conveyancing department, Wills and Probate and the Criminal Department.
As a qualified solicitor Amy has now joined our busy Residential Conveyancing team.
Amy’s personal interests include looking after her her cocker spaniel Ernie with her husband Conor, socialising with friends, fashion and travel.
